CREDIT UNION MORTGAGE TEAM MANAGER - BILINGUAL (SPANISH / ENGLISH)

Community Trust, division of Self-Help Federal Credit Union, which serves frequently under-served populations -- particularly Latino immigrants -has an immediate opening for one highly motivated and talented individual for a Mortgage Team Manager - Bilingual (Spanish/English). This individual will lead our mortgage loan officers in California; your home base is flexible within our branch network in the Bay Area and Central Valley. If you desire a challenging, fast paced, customer oriented, collaborative work environment and don't mind travelling (by car), we invite you to apply. The Mortgage Team Manager will attract mortgage loan applicants, approve or deny pre-qualifications, ensure mortgage lending policies and procedures best serve the credit union and its members; oversee mortgage lending staff; ensure compliance with state and federal lending laws; develop, recommend, and report on improvements in mortgage products and services; and manage mortgage lending toward a strong economic performance. This includes achieving lending goals and budgets, conducting community relations and new business development, staffing, supervising and developing mortgage staff, ensuring effective and efficient service, and maintaining adherence to mortgage lending policies and procedures. Candidates best positioned for success include positive, energetic individuals with management experience.

Qualifications We Are Seeking:
? A person sensitive to the social, economic and cultural needs of the immigrant community with a passion for creating economic opportunity for traditionally underserved communities.
? Proven ability to develop new mortgage lending business and expand existing relationships.
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork.
? 5-10 years experience working as a mortgage loan officer.
? 3-5 previous supervisory experience.
? Experience in a financial institution, preferably a credit union.
? Someone who is fully bilingual (Spanish/English).
