BANKING ASSOCIATE

The FORD FOUNDATION is an independent, nonprofit grant-making organization. With headquarters in New York, the foundation has offices in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Assist in the administration of the Foundation's banking, corporate card program, Concur expense reporting system and insurance program.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

BANKING: Initiating all wire transfers in the Citidirect system; preparing daily cash flow analysis report; maintaining lists of authorized bank signatories for Foundation bank accounts; reviewing and reconciling daily bank activity between Citibank and JDEdwards; assisting in maintaining bank accounts worldwide; reviewing and reconciling log of wire transfers from New York to overseas offices; preparing bank deposits and ensuring timely delivery to the bank; transmitting vendor check file information to Citibank; scanning grant payment confirmations to GBS.

CORPORATE CARD: Managing corporate cardholder activity; reviewing and reconciling travel expenses by cost center; analyzing corporate card spending by category; preparing and distributing monthly expense summary to directors and managers.

EXPENSE REPORTING SYSTEM: Providing training for new users on Concur expense reporting system; maintaining and updating employees' cost centers, managers and assistants on Concur database; reviewing status of expense reports on Concur expense reporting system and follow-up with employees; processing weekly transfer of corporate card data to Concur expense reporting system; maintaining and updating training manual for Concur expense reporting system.

RISK MANAGEMENT AND INSURANCE SUPPORT

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


* BA or BS or combination of equivalent experience and education
* Demonstrated ability to work independently
* Must be inquisitive, detail oriented, accurate, punctual and able to manage small projects
* Proficient in MS Word and Excel applications
* Excellent interpersonal skills to interface and coordinate with large and diverse numbers of internal and external contacts
* Well organized and able to prioritize issues appropriately

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


* Experience in banking and/or corporate card administration

Grade: 127 - Exempt
