Default Part time Back-Office CFO needed

The Lowcountry Housing Trust, a Charleston, SC based CDFI providing
financing for the preservation and production of workforce and affordable
housing seeks a part time back office CFO. The position is responsible for
ensuring the Lowcountry Housing Trust's financial health and viability and
maintaining compliance with all funding partners and investor terms,
conditions and legal requirements as well as complying with GAAP and FASB.
The Chief Financial Officer will report directly to the Executive Director,
and will serve as a member of LHT's Executive Committee with monthly
reporting requirements to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
The successful candidate must work well in a team environment , be able to
handle multiple assignments, and have effective communications, strategic
thinking and planning skills. The initial level of effort is anticipated to
be 10-15 hours/month. We are seeking a CPA with 10-15 years of
progressively responsible experience in the banking and/or nonprofit
industry. A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Administration is required. Applicants should submit a letter of interest
outlining their background and qualifications for the position, a current
resume, and the names and contact information for three nonprofit
organization or banking job references. The closing date is February 7,
