Energizing lives and livelihoods for "energy poor" 1.6 Billion people in bottom-billion,base of the economic pyramid (BOP),who have missed out on Global economic development and so diverged from the rest of Mankind and can neither afford to wait for electrification access to rise to the level of other world regions nor continue relying on expensive,inefficient,and unsafe fossil-fuel based products to meet their lighting needs.


*** Recent emerging marketplace analysis suggests that solving Africa's lighting needs are rapidly becoming achievable than ever before,largely as a result of advances in modern lighting technologies,such as improved,efficient products like CFLs(Compact Flourescent Lamps) and Light Emitting Diodes(LEDs),coupled with new findings revealing that Africans are increasingly willing and able to pay as much as they are already willing to pay for kerosene and other inefficient sources,providing an pathway to deliver innovative last-mile,clean energy access solutions for off-grid energy poor populations in Africa.


*** Opting for market-based approach,the strategy is designed to to support the Global Lighting innovation ecosystem deliver off-grid energy solutions in Africa,to accelerate the rate of velocity to non-fossil fuel-based,low cost,safe,clean and reliable off-grid lighting products with associated basic energy services-with the focus of reaching Africa's 400 grassroots farm families in Abia State,South East,Nigeria,with the potential to replicate and scale-up to the entire sub saharan Africa.

Partnership is sort from the Global lighting innovation ecosystem to deliver clean energy solutions to Africa's grassroots communities.
