Community Development Banking Listserv Archive     CommunityDevelopmentBanking-L is an active, free, ongoing e-mail discussion resource.  Since 1994, this list has served community development practitioners including Credit Unions, Banks, CDCs, Loan Funds, trade associations, regulators, governments and partner non-profits.  The discussions have ranged from the practical (construction, mortgage, and small business lending; job opportunities, conferences, fundraising) to legislative (CRA, HMDA, and CDFI) to the cutting edge (micro-loan funds, peer lending, local currency, targeting social impact).

For CDB list members

GreenMoney's new Fall 2010 'SRI' e-Newsletter is now available. If you did
not get the e-Newsletter earlier this week please let me know and I will
email it to you at no cost.

The new Fall e-Newsletter on *SRI: Better Companies and Better
Communities*answers the questions -- How can we better meet people's
needs, build wealth
and create more sustainable and resilient communities?

It begin with Bennett Freeman over-viewing the aggressive new SAGE strategy
from Calvert that is expanding their approaches to SRI; next, continuing
the theme of positive changes through corporate engagement Heidi Welsh
offers a close look at the recent shareholder resolutions proxy season. We
continue our ICONS interview series as Jean Pogge, formerly of ShoreBank
questions green business leader Jeffery Hollender of Seventh Generation.
And finally Shari Berenbach of the Calvert Foundation and now USAID shows us
a road map to the future of Community Investing.

Send me your email address to- cliffgmj@gmail.com

Thanks
