Editor and project manager for all print and web-based Community Affairs publications, including quarterly Bridges newsletter and a variety of other publications, web postings, invitations and other print and electronic materials. Promoter of community development events for the Eighth Federal Reserve district. Job Duties and Responsibilities ? Serve as project editor of all print and electronic publications; determine the content and develop a communications plan, including schedules and assignments. ? Write and edit major stories and oversee production of publications and web content. * Coordinate the publicity of district-hosted programs; produce program invitations, meeting materials, evaluations and summaries. * Attend and write reports from semiannual meetings of Community Development Advisory Council. ? Provide consulting and editorial services on research and policy papers and to other departments within the division on a limited basis. ? Participate in District and System communications committees and work groups in order to support and promote strategic communications objectives. ? Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills ? Degree in Journalism or Communications, with 6-8 years experience with a portion of that experience in a corporate setting. ? Demonstrated expertise in community development, banking, economics, finance, nonprofit or business field. ? Demonstrated ability to manage major communications projects from start to finish, including ability to supervise complex print and web production processes. ? Demonstrated knowledge of Internet, multimedia, social media and other forms of electronic communication. * Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Demonstrated ability to assume leadership, work well independently and with little supervision.
