Manufactured Housing Webinar Series: Promoting Quality, Affordable Housing
Resident Ownership of Communities: Benefits & Policy Landscape
Wednesday, June 16 from 2 - 3:30pm EDT

Please join us for a discussion of an innovative shared equity strategy for promoting affordable homeownership and asset building for low-income families. There are nearly 50,000 manufactured home communities across the country. Manufactured home community cooperatives are revolutionizing the landscape of this industry to provide tenure security for homeowners, as well as an opportunity to build equity through affordable homeownership.

The Resident Ownership of Communities: Benefits and Policy Landscape webinar will highlight the importance of this source of affordable housing, tell the personal story of a homeowner from tenant to owner and provide an overview of the policies that support resident ownership, including where different states stand on these policies. The webinar will also offer practical tips to homeowners and their supporters as well as provide information on other resources.

If you care about the full spectrum of affordable housing then don't miss this important learning opportunity!

Panelists will include:

About the Manufactured Housing Webinar Series
Regardless of the economic landscape, affordable housing persists as a challenge in many communities across the country. Affordable housing developers, advocates, stakeholders and public officials need a comprehensive toolbox of affordable housing options that meet the full continuum of affordable housing needs in their community. Manufactured housing is a high-quality, affordable choice for many homeowners.

The Manufactured Housing Webinar Series will provide practical information on the opportunities of manufactured housing as an affordable housing strategy. The series will focus on the intersection of building a local and state policy landscape that supports owners of manufactured housing and will highlight case studies that have successfully leveraged strong policies to help homeowners build assets. Those interested in promoting quality, affordable housing options in their community should plan on attending.
