NACEDA's Managing Neighborhood Change Initiative Accepting Submissions for "Building Markets" Competition

NACEDA's Managing Neighborhood Change Initiative is currently accepting submissions for the "Building Market Tools for MNC" Competition from all types of social purpose organizations (charitable organizations, community development corporations, and public/private entities) in all fifty states through February 28. The theme of this competition is: "Healthy Housing Markets, Healthy Neighborhoods" and the goal is to identify the strategies and projects that CDCs and social purpose organizations use to strengthen neighborhood housing markets and influence neighborhood choice.

About Managing Neighborhood Change



Managing Neighborhood Change (MNC) is a framework for CDCs, designed by Brooking's Fellow and housing expert Alan Mallach, that seeks to bring new tools to neighborhoods to help stakeholders analyze the local market and determine appropriate strategies to affect needed changes. In 2008, NACEDA partnered with consultants Root Change to operationalize the MNC framework.

About the Collaborative Competitions



The Managing Neighborhood Change Collaborative Competitions are intended to facilitate the unearthing, aggregation, and promotion of tools and strategies used by organizations across the country to achieve equitable community revitalization.
