The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) seeks candidates with experience in economic development for full-time position of Professional Development/Education Associate. Immediate contract /temp opening during search – possible temp-to-perm position.

Responsibilities include supporting instructors for approximately 20 education courses per year; ongoing updates to course manuals, case studies and presentation materials; managing our accreditation program including the relationships with accredited partners and the reporting/review process for reaccreditation.** The accredited partners deliver an additional 30 courses per year. IEDC’s professional development program supports the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) program.* The position offers content support to the CEcD exam.

Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in economic development or related field.* Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in a related field preferred.* Position requires strong planning, team management and organizational skills as well as excellent research and writing skills.* Salary $40,000+ dependent on qualifications. Moderate to heavy travel. EOE.
