Microenterprise Innovation Project [.pdf]
http://www.mip.org/

A US Agency for International Development (USAID) initiative, the
Microenterprise Innovation Project (MIP) aims to provide
"micorentrepeneurs," owner-operators of tiny, informally organized
businesses, with greater access to financial development services. Grant
information, technical reports, working papers, and papers produced by MIP
components are available for download [.pdf] or purchase, and some include
versions in French and Spanish. Topics of discussion range from particular
financial institutions to the building of better markets for women and the
very poor around the world, and abstracts may be read without Acrobat
conversion. [MW]
