Hi, I'm looking for information about entrepreneurial/job training programs
with teens and adults working in the culinary/catering/baking industry. I know a little bit about Homeboy Bakeries in East L.A., but I'm specifically interested if anyone knows of programs or interest in the Bay Area. I work for Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition, and we are in the process of developing a 148-unit family project in San Jose, that also has a banquet facility in addition to the usual community space and computer classroom. We're planning on putting in a new commercial kitchen, and hope to do at least lunch and dinner events, although we may be short on parking for weddings. Using this facility as a training center would be perfect. Thanks for your help.
