resource. Since 1994, this list has served community development practitioners
including Credit Unions, Banks, CDCs, Loan Funds, trade associations,
regulators, governments and partner non-profits. The discussions have ranged
from the practical (construction, mortgage, and small business lending; job
opportunities, conferences, fundraising) to legislative (CRA, HMDA, and CDFI) to
the cutting edge (micro-loan funds, peer lending, local currency, targeting

Windows based Loan Serving
There is windows based program called Loan Maximizer. They have a demo
disk. Contact Sylvan Computing, Robert Rogers, (909) 882-1032. Nortridge Software has recently released a Windows version of its program as well. Contact (800)-993-6227 or (800) 645-4341 (Kim Stemple). Lenders Support System's LOANbase II PLUS runs under various platforms. Contact Mort Hayden, (619) 291-712. They will do a demo if you have a modem and a speaker phone. Anchor Commercial has a Windows program, mostly meant for SBA lending but with a commercial lending package as well. Contact (800) 359-1924. Financial Accounting Systems has a dos program that runs under Novell, Unix and others. Contact (800) 345-8726 (US) and (800) 842-7207 (CA and Canada) Haven't used any of the systems but have seen a couple of demo disks.
