JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Faith Fund, Inc. is a new nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI) that will make capital (initially from diverse faith groups) available to lend for community development and microenterprise projects in metropolitan Baltimore. *The Faith Fund seeks a skilled, visionary and entrepreneurial Executive Director to lead the organization through its beginning years of operations and to manage a dynamic financial entity. The Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors and be responsible for: n Building the organization: o Raising funds and developing the Faith Fund budget; o Recruiting, hiring, supervising and motivating staff; n Building the business: o Soliciting, processing and analyzing loan applications; o Monitoring loan performance and compliance with loan agreements; o Overseeing establishment of effective management information systems; and n Building strategic relationships and partnerships with investors, borrowers, and communities to enhance the ability of Faith Fund to meet the needs of its diverse lower income constituency. The Executive Director should have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally including management experience and experience in commercial, business or community lending. *The successful candidate should also possess demonstrated proficiency in fundraising, outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written, and excellent time management and organizational abilities.
