EDFS Announces Dates for Essential Training
for New and Experienced Loan Fund Professionals

Mark your calendar, tell your colleagues, and register today for the Economic Development Finance Service's (EDFS) highly rated loan fund management training courses.*

Loan Fund Organization & Administration and Credit Analysis & Introduction to Deal Structuring for Loan Funds will be held concurrently September 11-13, 2003 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.* The courses will be conducted prior to the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) Annual Training Conference (September 13-16) at the Hilton Minneapolis.

EDFS training provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen the loan fund management skills of your loan fund staff, loan review committee members, and community partners.* Our expert trainers and in-class exercises and discussions over three full days go into detail about issues that both new and experienced professionals will find useful.* Loan Fund Organization and Administration covers all aspects of fund management, and provides adaptable operating procedures, forms, and other documents.* Credit Analysis and Introduction to Deal Structuring for Loan Funds walks you through the underwriting process, with an emphasis on financial ratios, so you can make sound lending decisions.* You’ll also learn how to package a deal with banks and other funding sources.* An added value is the opportunity to get to know others in your field from across the country, share your expertise, and get your questions answered.
