Herald Staff and Wire Services

The CRA Qualified Investment Fund's chairman, Miami banking analyst Ken
Thomas, has resigned his post, and said he is no longer an employee of the
management company CRAFund Advisors.

Launched in June by a group of Fort Lauderdale investment advisors, the
mutual fund is geared to help banks meet their obligations under the
Community Investment Act.

Fund managers had said that they projected the fund to reach $1 billion
within 18 months. By Wednesday, the fund had reached $5,644,360.
