Default CDF Primer

Hello all,

I am looking for a basic and brief primer on theory of CD finance...as
an intro to using finance as a development tool for a bunch of folks who
are not CD practitioners nor finance people...Kind of like variations on
the Rolling Stone article of a few years back. Have any of you come
across a relatively succinct and accessible article or other written
document that does this well?
