(Pardon me for multiple posting.)
I am undertaking a research project at Women's World Banking on non-financial business development programs for micro and small businesses. We are interested to identify factors contributing to the success of non-financial programs and services from cases around the world. Would anyone who knows not-well-known but innovative programs/services be kind to give me leads? Categories of programs and services to be considered in this three-month research include: technology transfer, general business training, sub-sector specific initiative, commercial services, individual mentoring/counseling, to give a few examples. Our focus is the bottom half population in the developing countries, but relevant cases from the developed world are also welcome. Please direct your email to: hk31@columbia.edu or wwb@igc.apc.org (please write "mail to Hideki" under "Subject") Thank you.
