The New York City Financial Network Action Consortium (NYCfNAC), a nonprofit

was established in 1999 to strengthen the provision of affordable,
comprehensive financial services and credit to New York City's low-income

which served 2,500 taxpayers and generated $3.18 million in tax refunds for
working, poor households.
