LATINO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
The Latino Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is seeking an
experienced, mission oriented financial management professional to establish
the Chief Financial Officer function at this growing organization. The new
CFO will be developing this new function for the entire organization, both
significantly upgrading LEDC's internal finance department capacity and
enhancing the budgeting and planning skills of managers throughout the

Since 1991, LEDC has provided a continuum of bilingual economic development
services across the Washington metropolitan region in three areas: small
business development and micro lending, homeownership and foreclosure
counseling, and affordable housing preservation. LEDC's operating budget is
approximately $3.5 million, with most of its revenues coming from government
contracts, with additional support from foundations and corporations.
Desired Experience and Attributes
