The Community & Economic Development program at the UNC School of Government<http://www.sog.unc.edu/> is recruiting a director to lead an exciting new community development finance initiative (job description here<http://www.sog.unc.edu/about/employm...dir_dfi.pdf>). This new initiative will create opportunities for economically distressed communities in North Carolina by increasing their access to and use of development finance tools. The director will work with local governments and nonprofit development entities to increase their capacity to implement public development finance mechanisms that leverage private investment, such as tax credit programs, self-financing bonds, secondary market and securitization programs, and others. We are looking for applicants with experience in finance and/or real estate development and a commitment to triple-bottom line returns. Please share with your networks.
