Hello everyone
Some colleagues here in the UK are trying to pull together a summary of different routes to rural credit union development in order for them to identify the best way forward in developing a county-wide credit union. Irrespective of different regulatory regimes/histories etc etc, i'd be really interested in how the issue of large scale, rural credit union development in undertaken in areas outside of the UK (key issues/problems/differences from urban development/innovations etc etc). Obviously a key question i'd like to know thoughts about is how to deliver credit union services (collections points, structures, the services themselves) across a large geographical area. Any help/details you could provide would be most helpful. ...and a happy new year!
