The Eastern Plains RC & D Launches New Program to Connect Eastern Montana
Entrepreneurs with Angel Investors

The Eastern Plains RC&D Area, Inc. and Billings-based LocalFund.com
announce the launch of the first online Angel Investor Network in eastern
Montana.
The Eastern Montana Angel Investor Network provides a private and secure
method for matching accredited investors, otherwise known as angel
investors, with Montana entrepreneurs.

Over the past several years there has been a significant increase in new
business ventures in the state of Montana. Through its involvement with
regional entrepreneurs, the Eastern Plains RC&D Area, Inc., a 16-county
economic and human development organization based in Sidney, Montana,
realized that new eastern Montana business startups need a way to connect
with investors, and investors needed to access available investment
opportunities. The Eastern Montana Angel Investor Network was created to
bridge this gap, enabling entrepreneurs to access capital, and investors to
develop their portfolios.

Through the Eastern Montana Angel Investor Network, startup and existing
Montana businesses can present their business plan summaries online to
accredited investors, as defined by the Securities and Exchange
Commission. Investors can then contact the entrepreneurs directly and
arrange for a face-to-face meeting.

"Investors are now able to see investment opportunities that they otherwise
would not have had access to," said Cliff J. Grant, President of

that will have such a positive impact on the economic development of
eastern Montana."

Over the past year, Eastern Plains RC&D Area, Inc. has seen many private
investors from around the country that are interested in investing in

the needs of angel investors and eastern Montana ideas, and opens new
opportunities for both the investment and entrepreneurial communities.

Inc. magazine recently ranked Montana third in the nation for the number of
start-up ventures per capita. This entrepreneurial atmosphere reflects the
do-it-yourself attitude that dominates Montana, and the need for capital to
support these ventures.
