Wow. Amazon already benefits from its "storerooms," aka Best Buy, etc. If it puts them out of business, it will find itself suffering too. Amazon kind of depends on people being able to shop for some things in person before buying on Amazon with added confidence. Without that ability, buying certain things on Amazon becomes a much dicier prospect. I could not agree more with Jason and Patricia. It is as if an entire generation is being taught that "how" equals "what" and "why," which "the how" of the digital age is NOT! Digital tools are awesome, but so are nuclear weapons. They are NOT a substitute for balance and community, or a rationale for the hollowing out of the word "friend" online especially. Amazon has and can do good in this world, but don't blow it! Greed is NOT good, period. Hope this link helps illuminate the dangerous, embedded thinking facing U.S. all now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9mWAxHpeew Holiday Blessings? Hopefully still?
