The Community Solutions Group (CSG) Center for Long-Term Supports Innovation (CLTSI) is an expanding division within NCB Capital Impact whose mission is to “help older Americans and people with disabilities conduct their lives with maximum independence, dignity, and connection with their communities." CLSTI works with housing, health care and long term services and supports (LTSS) providers, community organizations, foundations, academic institutions, trade associations, state and local governments, and others to identify or expand innovative concepts to meet our nation’s growing LTSS demand. The Program Coordinator will support the CLTSI team by (a) assisting the team in administering and expanding the Village to Village Network (VtV Network); (b) providing expert member services, administrative support, and policy research in the areas of community based LTSS and aging in place and community (c) assisting the CLTSI team fulfill its responsibilities under foundation grants and state and other contracts; (d) assisting the team in the implementation of the VtV Network business plan; and (e) assisting the VtV Network team in the areas of marketing/outreach to maintain the Network as the national resource for the Village model and for innovations in aging in the community. This work will support the development of expanded choice in long term supports and services programs for older Americans. The person who fills this position will be prepared to accept and complete a wide range of assignments. S/he will have strong project management and organizational skills, interest and experience in policy and practice related to LTSS and aging in place and community, the ability to work in a team as well as independently, and will be responsible for assuring that assignments are achieved in a timely, efficient manner and that internal and external communication flows effectively. 1. Assist in the administration and expansion of the VtV Network. The national VtV Network provides a wide range of services to a growing number of Network members. This role will support the VtV Network team by responding to member calls and emails, handling member renewal notices, assisting with webinar planning and production, providing administrative support for the National Gathering, keeping the VtV Network website updated, and assisting with preparation for bi-monthly VtVN Board of Managers meetings. 50% time. 2. Provide support for Technical Assistance grants and contracts. The implementation of TA grants and contracts includes a variety of support activities that are critical to project success and client satisfaction. For this position, these activities include becoming familiar with TA projects and clients, organizing meetings and conference calls, assisting with preparing/maintaining materials and records to support TA activities, and communicating professionally and effectively both internally and externally. Specific tasks include setting event dates, securing space, arranging food and beverages, making speaker arrangements, assisting with marketing and outreach, responding to questions and inquiries, problem-solving, providing technical support for calls and meetings, documenting calls and meetings, and attending meetings as requested. 30% time. 3. Assist with research in the areas of Village promising practices, LTSS, aging in place and community, the evidence base for social and non-medical support, etc. The area of aging in place and community is the focus of a great deal of policy and research attention. This role will help identify and organize relevant reports and other information into an accessible library for CLTSI; research specific information needed for written materials, publications, presentations, etc.; draft selected written materials; and help develop a promising practices database on the VtV Network website. 10% time. 4. Provide support for CLTSI and VtV Network business and strategic planning and implementation. As the work of CLTSI shifts toward a Village focus, business and strategic planning activities are being undertaken to clearly identify what this business niche will look like. As this planning is completed, a variety of marketing, outreach and branding activities will be developed and incorporated into CLTSI’s annual planning process and operations. This role will be an important part of implementing these initiatives. 10% time. · Four year college degree, ideally in aging, community development, social work, public health or a related field · Interest/background/working knowledge in aging, publicly-financed housing and health care programs, long-term services and supports, and policy and practice issues impacting low-income populations · Ability to interact professionally with external clients, develop workplans, perform secondary research, and work both independently and as part of a team · Minimum of three years experience in nonprofit organizations and project management · Strong writing and research skills and survey experience · Initiative, flexibility, patience, sense of humor, and excellent communication and organizational skills. This person must be skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and website management. Additional graphics skills a plus. Willing to learn new software programs specific to work.
