Default Barriers to bank lending

REMOVING BARRIERS TO BANK LENDING: Legal Services of Greater Miami
seeks to hire two attorneys who will engage in South Florida advocacy to
(1) stem the loss of affordable rental housing units, and (2) identify
and attack the barriers that inhibit the creation of new affordable
homeownership and rental housing. The attorneys will coordinate their
work with a task force composed of nonprofit developers, lenders,
community organizers, and other advocates. The work will involve a
combination of litigation, policy development and policy advocacy. Mail
resumes to John Little at Legal Services of Greater Miami, 3000 Biscayne
Blvd., Suite 500, Miami, FL 33137. For more information call John at
(305) 438-2461.
