Can anyone on this list direct me to the place on the Treasury's website
where I can find info on qualifying requirements for CDFI status (especially as it applies to credit unions) and how to initiate the process? Anyone out there done this? What were your goals? What was your credit union's status prior to applying (i.e. regular or low income CU)? What have been your results? Thanks in advance. ----------------- Jim Frazin CEO Amphlett FCU voice: 650.343.2266 fax: 650.343.2266 $2.0M assets, 301 members San Mateo, CA 94401 As of January 4, 1999, a community credit union! All the CDFI application files and details are at
http://www.treas.gov/cdfi/cdfiprog.html. You may want to contact the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions for advice and assistance on the application details. Perhaps they can connect you with member credit unions who've gone through the process. See contact info on their website at www.natfed.org.
