This message is for those list serve members who may be interested in volunteering their time and skills to help struggling farmers in developing countries:

CNFA is a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC that sends folks from the US agriculture sector on three week overseas assignments. The volunteer program is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and CNFA covers all expenses related to the assignment, including airfare. The volunteer provides his or her time and knowledge. Each of the volunteer assignments is designed for one person only (as opposed to a team) and is approximately three weeks in length. If you would like to find more information on this program, please contact me or visit our web site at www.cnfa.org (please click on the Agribusiness Volunteer Program icon on the left of the screen).

By sharing your knowledge and skills with struggling farmers in the developing countries of the former Soviet Union and Africa, YOU CAN HELP improve their lives! Please send me an email if you are interested in volunteering, kgribovskaja@cnfa.org , and I will be happy to provide more information.
