across the country. Since its inception in 2002, Civic has established a proven
track-record of delivering high-quality charter school facilities on-time and
on-budget. We are an experienced team of professionals dedicated to delivering
inspirational educational facilities at affordable rates. Â*Civic Builders seeks an
entrepreneurial-minded, mission-driven teammate to join Civic’s Business
Development team. Specific responsibilities include the following:

Site Search
§Â* Lead real estate
site search activities to identify site opportunities: canvass geographic
catchment area, conduct outreach, liaise with brokerage community, research and
vet site opportunities, contact site owners and prepare offers
§Â* Maintain database
of site opportunities
Â*
Project Pipeline
§Â* Market Civic’s
mission and services to prospective charter school partners
§Â* Lead due
diligence efforts to evaluate potential partner charter schools
§Â* Maintain database
to track all charter schools (applicants/charters/operators/renewals) in Civic’s
geographic markets and identify prospective projects
Â*
Project Development
& Client Management
§Â* Manage
information from schools (academics, financials, organizational data) and
monitor school performance
§Â* Support Business
Development Directors in project development, including assessment of project
feasibility, securing of project financing, and communication with third party
consultants to the project
Â*
Miscellaneous
§Â* Prepare internal
and external presentations
§Â* Support internal
and external reporting requirements
* Additional special projects or tasks as necessary
Â*
A successful candidate for
this position will have a proven ability to multi-task, take initiative, and
work collaboratively with a team. College degree, excellent interpersonal, organizational,
written and verbal communication skills, 1-2 years of relevant experience and a
demonstrated interest in Civic Builders’ mission a must.
