Dear LISC Colleagues,

Nonprofit organizations are continually seeking ways to keep employees
satisfied and engaged in the work that they do. Here's a chance for you to
make your voice heard. I came across the attached survey and wanted to
encourage you to participate in the information gathering process.

Opportunity Knocks, the national nonprofit job board and career resource,
will be publishing a study late summer 2011 on Nonprofit Employee
Engagement that will be free to the nonprofit community. Through the
study, they hope to come to a better understanding of the complex roles
that motivation, compensation, and the workplace environment play in
nonprofit employee job satisfaction. The questions in the survey also
provide an opportunity to reflect on why you do what you do . Your
identity and your individual responses will be confidential. The survey
should only take you about 10 minutes to complete.

Remember, though your responses to the questions are anonymous, your
participation in the study will provide you with the opportunity to voice
your needs to the executives, administrators, and human resource managers
in the greater nonprofit community. The information you provide will help
nonprofit employers understand what benefits, rewards, and management
practices are most beneficial and important to you. Also, as a thank you
for participating in the study, you can enter to win a pair of round-trip
tickets to anywhere AirTran flies!*

Kindly complete the survey by July 15,2011 and forward this survey to your
nonprofit colleagues. Higher numbers of survey participants increase the
validity of the survey results and strengthens your collective voice. Your
responses are very valuable to the nonprofit community.
You can take the survey by cutting and pasting the link below into your
web browser.
