TITLE: SBA Loan Underwriter
REPORTS TO: CEO
POSITION: Part time / 3 Days a Week
LOCATION: 179th Street, Jerome Ave, Bronx, NY
Bethex Federal Credit Union (BFCU) is seeking an SBA Loan Underwriter
The ideal candidate has good communication
skills, bilingual in Spanish and English,
the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously, and the capability to interact with
diverse membership.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite SBA Loans – 7A, Express, Patriot
Help prospective borrower become eligible for loans
Monitor effectiveness of programs and services
Monitor businesses on a regular basis
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years work experience with
mission-driven, non-profit organizations preferably with credit unions
Experienced in SBA underwriting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Independent, self-motivated worker with an ability to get things done
Bilingual in Spanish
Master’s degree preferred
