Early Bird Rate for CDFI Institute Ends this Week!
Join the CDFI Coalition and Participate in a members-only call on the President’s FY 2012 Budget
The CDFI Institute Early Bird Registration expires COB on February 4, 2011. Register for the Institute now by following this link<http://org2.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=f2L5XrvEYvNtkWoFONhKRy11fs2fZGiC> ('http://org2.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=f2L5XrvEYvNtkWoFONhKRy11fs2fZGiC>') to the Institute registration page on the CDFI Coalition’s website.
The preliminary Institute agenda has been posted here<http://org2.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=LP6FcSUk90RvAtLX6kXndC11fs2fZGiC>, ('http://org2.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=LP6FcSUk90RvAtLX6kXndC11fs2fZGiC>,') and we will be updating the agenda with the names of the various panelists that have been invited shortly. You will see we have panels planned around the changes in Washington as a result of the mid-term election, and we will hear from the CDFI Fund on their programs and timing for the coming year.
In addition, panels will address the federal government’s implementation of the Healthy Foods Initiative, the new SBA 7(a), Community Advantage program open to CDFIs, USDA’s business financing programs, the multi-billion dollar Guaranteed Taxable Bond Program, and the $300 million Small Business Lending Program. Other panels will feature prominent funders of CDFIs from the private sector and a discussion of the likely changes coming for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. We encourage you to register for the CDFI Institute to participate in all these discussions.
We also encourage you to join the CDFI Coalition and become an active member. A members-only conference call has been scheduled February 18 to discuss the President’s FY 2012, expected to be released on February 14.
