Dear Listserv Members,

I am writing from a credit union in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are a CDFI
serving the local community. I am trying to raise capital with BEA
Deposits. Thus far, I have not had much luck. Was wondering if anyone had
ideas of how to increase interest in BEA deposits, or if anyone would be
interested in more information about depositing.

Thanks!

Kristin,
It may just be timing. The 2011 BEA round has not yet been announced (this year the NOFA came out a the end of March) and interested banks may not yet be actively looking for CDFI partners just yet. If you have an immediate need for deposits, the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions offers investments through our Community Development Investment program and as a member CDCU I invite you to take advantage of those resources. We'll follow up with you shortly.

Best regards,

Pablo
