To My Fellow Community Development Banking Members,
As you may already know, we've opened our first BancoCenter in Irving, Texas
last month with great fanfare. We're working on opening a second location
in Dallas followed by a third one in Houston. We've already received
inquiries from folks in San Antonio as to when we will arrive there. We
have our work cut out for us and look forward to expanding nationwide next
year.
The BancoCenter focuses on providing our integrated platform of financial,
business and insurance services to the small business community. Our
products are mainly commercial in nature. We do not offer consumer services
as of yet. However, we do want to offer residential mortgage services to
our customer base and are in dialog with several large lending institutions
on providing us their platform of mortgage products under our Bancofino
label.
I have not made any decisions as of yet and would like to further explore
establishing dialog with lending members of this community. I clearly
understand the banking and mortgage banking industries and will determine if
working with either a bank or mortgage banker is our best option. There are
pros and cons to working with either one of them.
I look forward to your assistance and if anyone knows of an entity that
shares our passion and vision with helping the Hispanic and minority owned
businesses, then I would like to speak with them. We need the ability to
offer home loans at all of our BancoCenters. I welcome all serious
inquiries from those who want to develop a long term relationship with my
company.
