Located within the Office of Financial Institutions, the Community
Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) is charged with
the critical mission of promoting access to capital and local
economic growth in urban and rural low-income communities across the
nation. The CDFI Fund achieves its purpose by expanding the capacity
of financial institutions to provide credit, capital, and financial
services to underserved populations and communities in the United
