Hello Fellow Community Members,



We are in the process of opening our first BancoCenter in Irving, Texas on
September 17. Our integrated Banco platform of financial, business and
insurance services for the small business minority community has been
received very well by our peers. We plan on opening another larger
BancoCenter later this year in Oak Cliff, just south of downtown Dallas with
a third facility targeted for Houston, Texas in Spring of 2011.



We would like to offer financial education classes at these BancoCenters to
assist small business owners on how to better manage their operations. I
would like input from folks who already offer financial education on how to
best start this type of program and what is needed to get it off the ground.
Several inquiries have come in asking if we're going to be offering
financial education, but simply said, I really don't know.



I was thinking of partnering with other agencies as an alternative to
offering our own program, but I think I just want to hear it from the
experts first on what needs to be done. I prefer to eventually offer these
classes in each facility, but need to have a game plan in hand. I look
forward to constructive input from everyone. Thank you very much. J
