Please join CDVCA for our 9th Annual Conference in the heart of our nation's
capital, Washington, DC. This conference is the premier training and
networking event for anyone interested in community development venture
capital (CDVC). The three-day conference includes a one-day, pre-conference
training workshop entitled Introduction to Community Development Venture
Capital. Days two and three offer a brand new case study on exit strategies
for CDVC funds, a variety of technically focused breakout sessions designed
to address the interests of practitioners at all levels, an opportunity to
hear from key policy makers and much more. We hope you will join us for this

INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT VENTURE CAPITAL
Whether you are new to the CDVC field or would simply like to brush up with
an overview, this pre-conference introductory training workshop is the
perfect segue into this year's conference.
At this workshop, participants will learn how practitioners use the tools of
the trade, participate in an interactive business-school style case study
presentation, meet and network with practitioners, finance professionals,
and others who are interested in using venture capital tools in innovative
ways to benefit distressed communities and low income individuals. For those
of you who have never attended this introductory workshop, it is something
you shouldn't't miss!
