Thank you for responding to the microenterprise field-wide survey in 2009! Your data is included in our new searchable directory of almost 700 U.S. microenterprise programs that is now live. Graphic profiles on each organization provide key facts on products, services and scale as reported in a comprehensive survey of the U.S. microenterprise field. Search by name, state or key program focus areas.

Add to your data. Now that your program is listed in the directory, keep the information on it updated. You can add additional information for FY2008 and report your FY2009 data as well. Just follow the instructions on the directory site<http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?t=vhoiatdab.0.0.kgy958n6.0&p=http%3A%2F%2Ffieldus.org%2FPublications%2F2008%2 Fsearch.html&id=preview> ('http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?t=vhoiatdab.0.0.kgy958n6.0&p=http%3A%2F%2Ffieldus.org%2FPublications%2F2008%2 Fsearch.html&id=preview>') for submitting your additional data.

FIELD is also pleased to announce three new valuable data resources for microenterprise practitioners, donors, researchers, the media and others interested in U.S. microenterprise.

* Data highlights from our recent field-wide survey. Our new seven-page brief provides updated quantitative information on the scope, scale and evolution of the industry. Clear text and simple graphics help answer the most frequently-asked questions about the U.S. microenterprise industry.
* Latest MicroTest performance data. A concise set of datasheets illustrates key findings on MicroTest members' outreach, scale, activities, costs and sustainability from the FY2008 performance data collection effort.
* New data Web site in development. Our new searchable directory is the first phase of a rich, interactive and user-friendly Web site being developed by FIELD. The site will provide access to extensive data on the field, enable users to compare data to peers and national averages, and be widely available to potential funders, investors and the media.
Help us to shape the future. FIELD is recruiting microenterprise program Executive Directors to be interviewed as part of our market research on the data Web site. Please give us your feedback and help shape the site. Programs that complete a 60- to 90- minute interview will receive a free one-year subscription to the service in 2011. FIELD will be holding these interview sessions from late May through early June. Please respond to William Girardo at william.girardo@aspeninst.org<mailto:william.girardo@aspeninst.org>, or call 202-736-1089 to answer a few questions and schedule an appointment.
