Does anyone know of a CDFI or especially of a CDCU that has successfully worked with businesses in rural communities? I am looking for someone to tell their story as to how they have been successful. We are especially interested in how to make funds available for the cooperative business model and think a CDFI may give us some ideas.
Any leads you could provide would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Tom Stafford

Impact Seven in WI has a long established (over 35 years) track record of serving rural communities - I would think they would be a great resource and could probably put you in contact with a couple of other long standing rural CDFIs - try contacting Bill Bay at wbay@impactseven.org<mailto:wbay@impactseven.org> -

Tom,
Northcountry Cooperative Development Fund is a CDFI providing financing
and assistance to cooperative businesses throughout the Upper Midwest
