For those not aware, Moore County, North Carolina is home to both high
poverty in the northern end and concentrated wealth in the southern end
where wealthy resort communities such as Pinehurst and Southern Pines
are located.

The Northern Moore Family Resource Center seeks to hire an individual to
build a housing program that will allow low-income families to achieve
home ownership. Qualified candidates will possess the knowledge and
skills to develop classes in financial literacy and responsibilities of
homeownership, as well as the ability to forge community partnerships to
support Individual Development Accounts (IDAs). A college degree in
finance or related field is preferred. Preference will also be given to
candidates with experience in housing, banking, nonprofit/governmental
work, particularly with low-income families. Fluency in Spanish a plus.
All candidates must have a valid North Carolina driver's license.
Please send resumes to Executive Director Clare Ruggles at
nmfrc@embarqmail.com or mail them to her at PO Box 190 Robbins, NC 27325
or fax them to (910) 948-4127.
