Dear All,
I'm reaching out to ask the community for support. Change.org is running a campaign to select the top 10 "Ideas to Change America<http://www.change.org/ideas/view/job_creation_for_poor_americans_through_microloans _2>!" ('http://www.change.org/ideas/view/job_creation_for_poor_americans_through_microloans _2>!"') Domestic microfinance is ranked 20th - We need to get to the top 10 by Friday to push for job creation for low-income Americans. The top 10 ideas will be presented to the Obama Administration and will be supported by the 1MM+ community at change.org. We need the support of the community to further this cause. I'm sure you can all appreciate and imagine the effect that this could have.
Voting goes through March 12th. Please vote, and encourage all your members, affiliates, colleagues to help support domestic microfinance. Every vote counts!
Vote at: http://www.change.org/ideas/view/job_creation_for_poor_americans_through_microloans _2 ('http://www.change.org/ideas/view/job_creation_for_poor_americans_through_microloans _2')
**Make sure to click through the confirmation email to vote successfully! If you don't confirm the email and vote again, it won't count!
1. First you click on vote, which is under the number of votes on the left hand side of the screen.
2. The log-in screen will then pop up. If people have already registered on the website, they will need to log in with their email address and the password they set up the first time they voted. If you have not yet registered, you have to enter your email address, name, and any password you choose (preferably something easy to remember!).
3. Once you have entered that information, they will send you a confirmation email with a link.
4. Click on the link on the confirmation email, and vote for "Create Jobs. Alleviate Poverty. Support Domestic Microfinance"
5. Click on "VOTE" once again and you're all set. Remind everyone that they have to click again on VOTE after they have logged into the site, otherwise their vote will NOT be counted.
I know it's not the most user-friendly site, but we appreciate all the efforts of our supporters.
Thank you for all your support!
