The Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP difference
CDEs nationwide rely on Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP to evaluate and project the community impact of projects funded with NMTC-facilitated financing. Baker Tilly has developed two comprehensive NMTC impact analyses products.
* Pre-development impact analysis: the community impact of a proposed project is assessed before the project is placed in service. CDEs have used these studies to project future impact from their participation in a project and shape the terms of transaction to create the most value for the community.
* Post-development impact analysis: used by CDEs to evaluate actual community impact associated with a project after the project is placed in service. CDEs have used the results of these studies to report the impact of their past NMTC projects in the allocation application.
