Seeking Loan Fund Manager



The Northeast Entrepreneur Fund is seeking to fill the position of Loan
Fund Manager within the organization. This position is responsible for
overseeing and managing all of the lending activities of the Northeast
Entrepreneur Fund in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.
This includes an existing, high-performing loan portfolio of $2.4
million and the strategic goal (set in 2008) to grow to $5 million in
outstanding loans by the end of 2012. NEF closed $1.7 million in loans
in 2009, doubling its 2008 loan volume. In December 2009, NEF was
awarded an SBA 7a lender license.



Position is located at NEF's corporate office in Virginia, MN.

Key individuals interested in this position should have:



* Ability to design and create new loan fund products that meet
industry standards and are customer focused.
* Demonstrated knowledge of commercial business underwriting
policies, procedures and reviews.
* Knowledge of how to underwrite loans ranging from micro loans of
under $5000 to commercial lines of credit and small business loans up to
$100,000.
* Willingness to undertake collections, reduce delinquencies and
aggressively manage workout situations.
* Strong computer skills to manage portfolio database and
recordkeeping systems.
* Focus on the customer, provide realistic feedback in a
professional environment and work with customers to provide realistic
financing alternatives.
* Work as part of a team with business developers, loan packaging
consultants and others on behalf of the client's best interests.
* Interest in national trends in Community Development Financial
Institutions (CDFI), economic development, microenterprise and other
nontraditional business lending.





Minimum qualifications include:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance or
related field is preferred.
* Minimum of four years experience in loan fund and/or commercial
loan underwriting and administration.
* Experience with SBA loan programs is preferable.
* Demonstrated track record in lending in this or comparable
region.
