An FYI to the group. The National Association of Credit Union Service
Organizations (NACUSO) in conjunction with Pepperdine University, is
launching its certification Program on Designing and Implementing
Collaboration and Business Networks, focusing on the credit union space but
with applicability across collaborative networks. There is an on campus
component and a distance learning (web based component) that will lead to a
certification in one year. Effective collaboration is learned skill and
credit union professionals will have to have those skills in order for
credit unions to survive in the 21st Century.
The first class begins on October 25. There will be another one starting in
the spring.
