To all -
Research continues to pour out of government agencies, universities and
think tanks regarding the expected duration of the current economic crisis.
I continue to monitor the situation as best I can, updating the presentation
I have prepared and title "Death by Debt Strangulation." Recently, I gave
this talk to about 85 seniors at Temple University's Lifelong Learning
Center. These seniors are understandably very concerned about the security
of their retirement income and the effects of the downturn on their own
adult children and grandchildren. I am afraid I had little reason to give
them comfort that things would soon get better.
As I have offered in the past, I am happy to provide a copy of the updated
Powerpoint presentation and lecture notes to anyone who would like a copy.
