Has anyone conducted or come across a "short" electronic survey that has
been effectively used to assist in developing a local loan fund aimed at
small businesses?
Thanks,
Ed Swoyer

Dear Ed,
Good question. We've used survey monkey to do short communications, even if
people are not online, you then have a uniform mechanism for computation and
data analysis. We've found shorter efforts with questions that provide
litmus test information are more effective than 100 question long efforts.
If you are considering a new loan fund, I would strongly encourage you to
explore what is already in the marketplace and how you can work with
existing institutions. We have a lot of capital opportunities both in the
U.S. and int'l. Certainly, some markets remain under-served, but few are
not served. Most of our colleagues can handle doing more deals.
