All:

NCIF is proud to present its inaugural report on the Community
Development Financial Institution (CDFI) industry. The 2007 Annual
Financial and Social Performance of the CDFI Banking Sector
<http://www.ncif.org/images/uploads/Annual_Report_042508.pdf> ('http://www.ncif.org/images/uploads/Annual_Report_042508.pdf>')
highlights and commemorates the growth and community development
activity of CDFI banks. This report is available on the NCIF website
(www.ncif.org <http://www.ncif.org/> ('http://www.ncif.org/>') ).

The report outlines the commitment and activity that make CDFI banks
attractive targets for socially responsible and mainstream investors
that are interested in financial return, social performance and the
building of sustainable communities. Included within the report are the
NCIF Social Performance Metrics scores for each CDFI Bank and Thrift.
The NCIF Social Performance Metrics are a transparent suite of measures
that detail the amount of home lending and branch activity that is
directed to low income communities. For further information on CDFI
banks and to learn more about NCIF and the NCIF Social Performance
Metrics, please feel free to contact us.

We also want to remind you to register for the NCIF Annual Development
Banking Conference on November 6 and 7, 2008 in Chicago. Please visit
www.ncif.org <http://www.ncif.org/> ('http://www.ncif.org/>') for details on the event. As
always, the NCIF Conference is focused on providing Actionable
Strategies for CDFIs that can be replicated to improve financial
performance and enhance development impact. We are honored to have the
Honorable Donna Gambrell, Director of the CDFI Fund, as a keynote
speaker for this year's event. NCIF proposes to bring two new panels
focused on:

1. Socially Responsible Investors
2. New technologies that can be used to provide financial services
to the underserved communities.

Early Registration is now available by visiting NCIF's secure website at
www.ncif.org <http://www.ncif.org/> ('http://www.ncif.org/>') . You can also visit www.ncif.org
