Greetings colleagues!

The Western Massachusetts Enterprise Fund is trying to create an advisory board type role for companies that don't have the capacity but can use the guidance and expertise. We are seeking information on advisory group programs wherein a set number of businesses meet monthly with a group of advisors to discuss business development and management. If you have such a program, or something similar, we'd be glad to hear about it.

Many thanks!

The Valued Advisor Fund provides this type of service to business across the company - in addition we have a group focused on the gulf coast - the Gulf Opportunity Action League that actually meets quarterly or as requested by communities or businesses to help them with their needs - We have also found that meeting directly with City planninng officials is very effective in putting together the type of program you are discussing - it helps to create the community and network to get to the businesses that can utilize the support - we would be happy to help your efforts - please feel free to contact me as you move forward

All the Best

Chris, I assist many of the State System Benefit Trust Funds (utility wire
charges for clean energy) that set up specialized programs for companies
looking for assistance - mentors from industry or high level retirees, links to
programs, bankers, professional services (accounting and legal), and
connecting to strategic partners or customers. Some cities, like Austin, actually have
some sophisticated Business Incubators. Each has unique styles but all need
some outgoing, experienced people who can handhold businesses, provide some
"tough love", and act fast with services to move companies over their unique
hurdles. - Scott Sklar
