Whenever the Community Development Banking list gets hyperactive, as
it has this week, list subscribers bemoan the in-box burden.
You can limit your email from the list to one digest a day by sending an email.
TO ListProc@cornell.edu
BODY set CommunityDevelopmentBanking-l mail DIGEST-NOMIME
There is a List-Unsubscribe command built into the header records at
the top of each and every email your receive from the list. We'll
miss you, but Unsubscribing is just one click away.
Just some friendly reminders to help keep communitydevelopmentbanking
Listserve working effectively:
Do post items of interest to the community development banking community.
Do include your name, organization, address, email, web page, etc at
the end of your message.
Do share your knowledge, resources and opinion.
Do post notices of conferences, job openings, legislative
initiatives, and publications.
Do use the Subject line.
Do keep messages as brief as possible.
Do invite your peers and co-workers to subscribe to the list at the
web subscription address, http://www.runonthebank.net/cdblist.htm ('http://www.runonthebank.net/cdblist.htm')
Don't use attachments, formatting, colors, images, HTML
encoding. This serves three purposes:
- keeps message size smaller
- allows all subscribers to read the message
- helps reduce the incidence of viruses.
Thank you,
Bill Myers, CDB-L List Moderator,
