ISED is a nationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to
strengthening the social and economic well being of individuals and
communities. The mission of its Economic Development Division is to help
low income individuals achieve self-sufficiency through self-employment,
asset development and job training and to help revitalize economically
distressed urban neighborhoods and rural communities. The Division operates
five direct service offices and a network of independent contractors in
small communities.
ISED is seeking a dynamic individual to direct the Economic Development
Division. Successful candidate must have significant experience in economic
development with an emphasis in financial management, lending experience and
a demonstrated successful track record in addressing the challenge of
economic development. Strong leadership, management, communication,
team-building and problem-solving skills are required.
