The CDFI Fund's website currently has new information regarding the New
Markets Tax Credit. Among the new documents is the "CDFI Fund New Markets
Tax Credit Guidance," which provides more detailed information about the tax
credit and the application and evaluation process. The Fund is inviting
comment from the public on several pending items listed in the guidance.
Also available from the website are the Advance Notice of Proposed
Rulemaking from the IRS (pertaining to the tax credit), a press release
about the guidance and ANPRM, the original statute (from December 15, 2000),
and the CDFI Fund's brochure about the tax credit.
